Uttarakhand is a beautiful state located in north India and is surrounded by the Himalayas. It is known for its religious places. One of the most popular cities here is Rishikesh and it is famous for yoga. The Beatles who visited here, made this place even more popular. Every evening, people come to the Ganges River for the Ganga Aarti for a beautiful and peaceful prayer ceremony. Another famous place here is Jim Corbett National Park which is India’s oldest wildlife park. It was earlier called as Haley’s National Park. Many people visit here to mainly to see the Royal Bengal Tiger. There are around 600 types of animals and birds, making it a great place for nature lovers.

Day wise Itinerary


Day 1
Dehradun Arrival & Sightseeing

On reaching Dehradun by train or flight, you can have a little rest at your hotel. Later you can visit some famous spots such as Mindrolling Monastery, Forest Research Institute, Sahastradhara (natural spring) and Robber's Cave. In the evening, you can have a walk through Paltan Bazaar which is considered the busiest market of Uttarakhand. You can also do shopping for souvenirs, have talk with some local people and enjoy good dinner. After having a fun filled day you can have pleasant overnight stay in Dehradun.

Day 2
Dehradun to Mussoorie & Sightseeing

Start your day early and travel to Mussoorie. It is one of the most famous hill stations of Uttarakhand. On the way, you can stop at Kempty Falls, the state's highest waterfall. You can also visit renowned spots such as Gun Hill, Lal Tibba, Company Garden and Badraj Shrine. After reaching your hotel, you can rest for a while, later in the evening you can then proceed to Mall Road. Have a walk through the market, buy souvenirs and enjoy food at local eateries. Don't forget to taste some delicious Pahari food. After a fun filled day relax and stay overnight in Mussoorie.

Day 3
Mussoorie to Rishikesh & Sightseeing

After having your breakfast, you can then proceed to check out from the hotel and start your trip to Rishikesh, which is also called as the yoga capital of India. Rishikesh to Haridwar & Sightseeing
