Kazakhstan is a country located in the Central Asia which was earlier a part of the Soviet Union. It extends from the Caspian Sea in the west to the Altai Mountains in the east, bordering China and Russia. The biggest city, Almaty, has been a trading centre for a long time. Some of the famous places here includes Ascension Cathedral, an old Russian Orthodox church from the tsarist era and the Central State Museum, which has thousands of Kazakh artifacts.
Once you arrive at the airport, our representative will receive you and drop you to your hotel. After checking in, you can relax for the day or if you wish, you can explore some nearby places at your own comfort. Enjoy your first night in Almaty.
After having breakfast, we will give you a city tour of Almaty. You can check out some of the popular places like Republic Square, Monument of Independence, the President's Palace, Astana Square, Abai Square and Palace of the Republic. Then, we will halt at Panfilovets' Park, it is a lovely park constructed in memory of war heroes. Inside the park, there is Zenkov Cathedral and a beautiful wooden church. Next, we will visit KokTobe, a famous hill with some awesome views and entertaining activities. You can also buy some souvenirs at "The Beatles" shop. After an entertaining day, we will drop you back at the hotel.
Visit Charyn Canyon, Black (Lunar) Canyon, Kolsay and Kaindy Lakes in a single day. You can enjoy the stunning scenery of the Almaty area. The trip includes lunch and a special off-road taxi ride to Kaindy Lake
You can take a day trip to Issyk Lake and Bear Waterfall in Turgen Gorge, which is just 1.5 hours from Almaty. Here you can enjoy and will be able to see some beautiful views of Ile-Alatau National Park, also you will get a break from city's busy life. Go for a short, easy hike to Bear Waterfall which is surrounded by beautiful forests. Relax at Lake Issyk, a peaceful spot with clear water and snowy mountain views. On the way, visit the Golden Man Museum, where you will learn about an ancient warrior found in this area. You can also stop at a local trout farm for some fresh outdoor lunch. This trip is a perfect mix of nature and history, making it an ideal one-day trip.
