Indonesia is a very large country with thousands of beautiful islands with amazing places to explore. No matter how long you stay, there is always more to see.

If you have two weeks, that is enough to experience the vibe and visit some must-see spots. But if you can stretch it to three or four weeks, it will be even better! You will get to explore places like Borneo, Komodo, Raja Ampat or more of Java which is totally worth it.

Day wise Itinerary


Day 1
Arrival in Jakarta

After arriving in Jakarta, the busy capital of Indonesia, check into your hotel, take a casual walk around, and relax before the adventure starts.

Day 2
Exploring Jakarta

Explore Jakarta’s history and culture. You can start with the National Monument (MONAS), a symbol of Indonesia’s independence. Walk around Jakarta Old Town (Kota Tua) and see its old buildings. At Fatahillah Square, visit the Jakarta History Museum and the Fine Arts & Ceramics Museum. For a peaceful experience, check out the Istiqlal Mosque, the biggest in Southeast Asiaand right across, the beautiful Jakarta Cathedral.

Day 3
Train Journey to Yogyakarta

Leave Jakarta and board an executive train to Yogyakarta It is a journey of about six hours that offers scenic views of Java's landscapes, including volcanoes and rice fields. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax.

Day 4
Discovering Yogyakarta

Take a walk along Malioboro Street which is a vibrant area filled with street food and local stores. Explore Fort Vredeburg, again an ancient Dutch fortand then go to the Taman Sari Water Castle with its secret underground mosque. Spend the evening at Alun-Alun Square, have some delicious local snacks, and if you are in the mood, take a ride in a bright, glowing car.

Day 5
Temples and Volcanoes

Start your day early with a trip to three amazing places in Yogyakarta, they Merapi Volcano, Prambanan Temples and Borobudur Temple. Your guide and driver will pick you up before sunrise so that you can have the beautiful morning view from Setumbu Hill. After that, explore the active Merapi Volcano and then visit two famous temples. This is a private tour, so you can take your time without rushing in a big group. Hotel pickup and drop off are included and all entry tickets are covered, so you need not   worry about extra costs.

Day 6
Yogyakarta to Bali

After breakfast, you can check out from your hotel and catch a flight from Yogyakarta to Bali. On reaching, you can go to Seminyak, a lively area filled with stylish cafes, beach clubs and plenty of fun spots to enjoy. It is also a great place to start your Bali adventure, as it's easy to move around from this location.

Day 7
Seminyak Leisure

Begin your day at Canggu or Seminyak beach, it’s an ideal place for learning how to surf. You can then have your lunch at a local warung (small food stall), and then wander around Kuta's vibrant streets with souvenir shops and cafes.Spend your evening at Uluwatu Temple with breathtaking ocean views and watch Kecak and Fire Dance, which are very famous. End the day with a candlelight seafood meal on Jimbaran Beach. Your pickups and drop-offs will be taken care of by your driver.

Day 8
Ubud Exploration

Spend an entire day in Ubud and Tanah Lot Temple. Your guide will take you to some of the cool places in Ubud such as the Monkey Forest, rice fields and Tegenungan Waterfall, where you can snap some fantastic pictures. You may also visit Batuan Temple and then finish the day with a visit to Tanah Lot Temple, right on the beach.

Day 9
East Bali Private Full Day Tour - Gate of Heaven (All Inclusive)

Begin your day early to experience the beautiful view of Lempuyang Temple's Gate of Heaven before the fog sets in. You can then take a comfortable ride in your own vehicle to visit some of East Bali's most awesome attractions, such as Tirta Gangga Water Palace, Mt. Agung viewpoint, and more. Then, enjoy lunch at the Wapa di Ume resort with river view and infinity pool. Your guide/driver will also be present to take some photographs for you. The vehicle you will betravelling in is comfortable, making your journey more relaxing.

Day 10
Nusa Penida Adventure

Take a day-long trip to Nusa Penida from Bali. You will travel in speedboat to the island, and a local driver will take you to some of its most beautiful places. You can also visit Broken Beach with its dramatic cliffs, the natural infinity pool at Angel's Billabong and spend time at the white sandy beach of Crystal Bay.A tasty local lunch is included. The tour also includes round-trip transfers from your Bali hotel, an English-speaking guide, and the meal.

Day 11
A Relaxing Ferry Journey to Gili Trawangan

Travel to Gili Trawangan, one of the three Gili Islands. The boat trip will take few hours, but absolutely worthwhile. Gili Trawangan is tiny, and motorized vehicles are prohibited, so you can cycle or ride horse-drawn carriage. Spend the first night at a beach bar and watch the stunning view of Bali's coastline.

Day 12
Explore the Gili Islands

Spend the entire day travelling around all three Gili islands. You can begin your journey either in Lombok or Gili Trawangan and accompany a private guide to see Gili Air and Gili Meno. Here, you can snorkel in turquoise waters and view tropical fish, sea turtles, and colourful corals. From there, travel to Gili Trawangan, where you can snorkel, lounge on the beach, or ride bicycles around the island. Don't forget to see the statues underwater surrounding the islands. Lunch at a restaurant in Gili Trawangan is included. This tour is more personalized and relaxing because it is a private tour.

Day 13
Departure from Bali

On your last day in Indonesia, you can take the boat transfer from Gili Trawangan to Padang Bai. From there, you will be taken to Bali airport to catch your flight back home.
